The past days people went crazy after Gal Gador, Ben Affleck and others demanded to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut
Honestly, i just wanted to join the fun so i just went with it and had some fun.
But hey… if Warner would release the Cut i would watch it for sure!
I left out quite a few days already but i still try to catch up if possible!
I´m still struggling with inkwash but one of my favourite Artists, Francis Manapul, started posting real time drawings on his Youtube. Since i adore his way of painting i decided to do a kind of draw along to his painting to get a better understanding how to use different ink values.
So the whole idea is from Francis Manapul, all credit to this image to him!
In the end this turned out very well. This took about an hour out of my day and i finally got a good grip on this ink wash thing. Basically i was still using too much ink and not enough water. A simpel solution but i kinda needed the push in the right direction.
Check out Francis Manapul Youtube channel! His videos are very well made!
Another really quick one. I flipped the script and instead of painting patterns I used pattern brushes to create something. Not planned at all. I just looked through the brushes in my infinite painter app on my Samsung phone and went with what I had.
Miles Morales cool Spider-Man outfit was the chosen image for today.
This is more like a work in progress because i will definitely go back to this image and finish it properly. For now i´m way to tired lol
Again, done in Clip Studio Paint while streaming on my twitch channel!
Here is another frontal sketch produced digitally in Clip Studio paint while also streaming live on twitch. This was kind of a no brainer. It had to be Enchantress since i want to stay as close to the comic theme as possible. Sorry for the late posts tho. Really busy lately!
Ok, this is THE ONE… the one i messed up because i just went in and tried to wrap it up asap. But! i´m not mad at all. That´s kinda the push i needed from Inktober so i even share it!
On to the next one!
I´m a little late on this post so i make this quick. Really simple and fast sketch for a muscle study. Done in my sketchbook.
Micron pens and Pentel Brush pen used.
Mr. Freeze is back for #inktober sketch no. 4!
This made my day! I had a great stream on twitch and the prompt was screaming for a Mr. Freeze sketch!
I knew i only had roughly 2 hours for this so i decided to go all digital. Since i was on my pc i used Clip Studio paint. Using multiple drawing softwares starts to take a toll. I had to look up some funtions again. Still, using a ruler and basically starting out drawing one half made it possible to do this sketch quickly.
I will use this sketch and color it the right way later to have a really nice piece for my collection!
For this days prompt i went traditional with just inks.
I thought a sexy woman with a very inviting expression was a good fit for “bait”
I used my usual tools. .4mm mechanical pencils inked with Micron Pens and a pentel brush pen. Quite a small image too since it´s done in my sketchbook.
You can check out the process on my twitch channel, too. But i guess i´ll upload a timelapse from the stream to my youtube as well at some point.
