Today starts CCXP worlds and you can visit my online artist table!

Toay starts CCXP Worlds! A big online event since the original convention had to be postponed due to covid! I got a virtual artist table right here https://www.ccxp.com.br/en/artists-valley/createmycomic-593

The best part is that artists are able to livestream from home! I made up a schedule when i will be live to draw AND announce my first creator owned project on Saturday!

Aside from that the event offers tons of Interviews with Stars from the pop culture world and lots of known artists! Check it out!

#Inktober 2019 Day 18 “Misfit”

I left out quite a few days already but i still try to catch up if possible!

I´m still struggling with inkwash but one of my favourite Artists, Francis Manapul, started posting real time drawings on his Youtube. Since i adore his way of painting i decided to do a kind of draw along to his painting to get a better understanding how to use different ink values.

So the whole idea is from Francis Manapul, all credit to this image to him!

In the end this turned out very well. This took about an hour out of my day and i finally got a good grip on this ink wash thing. Basically i was still using too much ink and not enough water. A simpel solution but i kinda needed the push in the right direction.

Before you talk that “Practical Effects are so much better than CGI” crap. WATCH THIS!

I love A LOT of stuff! I´m not just into comics. I´ve been a photographer and I even tried my hand with CGI. So I love everything about filmmaking!

Nowadays I see way too many people complaining about CGI and putting practical effects on a pedestal. Which is total BS if you actually have the slightest clue about either craft.
